It is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English.

How many types of exams are there in the IELTS?

Ans:- The IELTS exam consists of four components: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. In the Reading section, candidates engage with three passages and answer approximately 40 questions. The Writing section includes two tasks; Task 1 requires describing visual information in at least 150 words, while Task 2 involves writing an essay in response to a given topic. The Listening section tests comprehension through a series of recordings, including conversations and monologues, followed by a set of questions. Finally, the Speaking component involves a face-to-face interview with an examiner, assessing the ability of candidate to communicate effectively in English through a series of questions and discussions.

Is there a pass or fail in IELTS?

Ans:- No, IELTS does not operate on a traditional pass or fail system. Instead, it assesses your proficiency in the English language through scores ranging from 0 to 9, with 9 being the highest possible mark. While there is no definitive passing score, most universities typically require an overall score of 6.5 for admission, particularly if they do not offer separate English language programs.

How much does it cost to take the test?

Ans:- The cost of the IELTS test ranges from $280 to $340. In Myanmar Kyats, the exact fee will depend on the current exchange rate between the US dollar and the Kyat.

How do I take the IELTS test?

Ans:- To take the IELTS test, first, you need to register through the website of British Council . You can select your desired test date based on availability. Once you have chosen a date, the website will guide you through the payment process. If you do not have a bank account, you can conveniently transfer your payment through AYA Bank, which has a partnership with British Council IELTS

What is Education Myanmar? Is it the same as British Council IELTS?

Ans:- Education Myanmar is distinct from British Council IELTS and does not have a partnership with them. It is an online-based platform that offers students a realistic testing experience, helping them prepare effectively for the IELTS exam.

Where is the Education Myanmar office located?

Ans:- As a newly established platform, Education Myanmar currently does not have a physical office in Myanmar. However, we plan to open an office in Yangon in the future. Do I have to pay for the test, and how can I make the payment?

Ans:- Yes, the test requires payment. Each test costs approximately 50,000 Kyats. Currently, online payments through the website are not available, but we are working to enable this feature in the near future. In the meantime, you can notify us, and we can arrange payment via Kpay, WavePay, or bank transfers.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Ans:- Yes, you can request a refund depending on the circumstances. We will process your refund as quickly as possible. Please note that refunds will only be issued through Kpay, WavePay, or bank transfers

How long it takes to get the results?

Ans:- Typically, it takes between one to three days to receive your results. If you have not received them within this time frame, please contact us with your name and the test ID used during your test.

Can i request the test certificate for job applications in Myanmar?

Ans:- The answer is Yes, you can request a test certificate for job applications. However, there may be a charge depending on the number of tests you have taken, with a fee not exceeding 30,000 Kyats. Are certificates from Education Myanmar accepted for university admissions in foreign countries?

Ans:- No, certificates issued by Education Myanmar are not recognized for university applications abroad. To apply to international universities, you will be required to take the official IELTS test through the British Council. Our platform serves as a preparatory tool, offering access to authentic test formats, and helping you gain the necessary experience and confidence for the official examination.

What is the score system used in Education Myanmar?

Ans:- Education Myanmar employs the same scoring system as the British Council IELTS, which ranges from 0 to 9. Each score corresponds to a specific level of English proficiency, with 0 indicating no ability to use the language and 9 reflecting an expert level of English proficiency. The overall band score is calculated by taking the average of the four individual sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Additionally, our platform removes certain restrictions typically found in traditional testing environments, such as time limits and multiple-page navigation, enabling test-takers to focus more on their performance without unnecessary distractions. While we aim to replicate the real test experience closely, our approach is designed to provide learners with greater flexibility and convenience.

What do i need to take the test with Education Myanmar?

Ans:- To take the test with Education Myanmar, you need a stable internet connection and a computer. After registering to take the test through the "Take Test" page on this website, we will provide you with a test ID and a unique code, which can be used only once for each test.

What if I only have a phone?

Ans:- If you only have a phone and wish to take the test, you can register through this website. We will provide you with a test ID and a unique code, which can be used only once for each test. However, please note that you cannot submit your answers directly on the website. Instead, you will receive all the questions you need and must write down your answers. You will then send your answer sheets, along with your test ID and name. To receive your results, please keep in mind that this process may take longer than taking the test on a computer. Additionally, you may receive a discount due to this situation.
